Narrow City Garden

Client Brief:

To overhaul a tired and narrow city garden into a more manageable ( self seeding Hollyhocks and weeds abound ) into a more attractive and useable space.

Solutions:

I have divided the long garden into three sections. The first area is a paved with Indian natural sandstone and complements the colours of the reclaimed brickwork of the extension.

The second area is a natural stone gravel garden surrounded with colourful and scented plants and would accommodate a small timber bench. The path continues through a timber arch and dog-legs at the mature apple tree and continues down towards the concealed shed and for access to the rear of the garden.
